Jennie Snead

Jennie’s strong dedication to personal service and broad residential market experience makes her a natural fit in the real estate business. Her enjoyment in working with people, and helping them realize the most from their real estate decisions, is evident throughout the entire real estate process. Whether helping sellers unlock hidden potential in their properties, or understanding buyer’s desires and matching them to the perfect home to meet their lifestyle, Jennie has the ability to get the job done.

Prior to dedicating her time to helping clients benefit from their own home purchases and sales, Jennie used her talent to purchase, remodel and resell undervalued properties in the Annapolis area. She has the ability to see the see and unlock the hidden potential in properties.

Before entering the real estate business, Jennie enjoyed 15 years as a marketing consultant designing and managing direct marketing campaigns for some of the largest corporations and not for profit organizations in the U.S. Jennie has always been a “Top Achiever” and will bring this same “Can Do” spirit to your real estate needs.

Jennie, along with her husband and twin daughters, enjoys boating on the Chesapeake Bay and further afield. She has lived in Annapolis for close to 15 years which has given her a firsthand understanding of the neighborhoods and lifestyle. This experience is extremely beneficial to clients, by helping them find the perfect home, or to maximize the value in the sale of their existing home. Let me introduce myself by saying that I was drawn to selling real estate because I enjoy houses. I am interested in their decoration, in how they derive their intrinsic value, how some are successful designs and some are not, how they fit into (or stand out from) their locations and communities. And somewhere in my Irish origins I inherited great skill at negotiating. When this is all put together with my determination and hard work ethic, it makes me an agent who can get the very best out of the market place for her clients. Perhaps I shouldn’t be quite so forward about myself, but I do have many clients who would be pleased to give references!

After many relocations with my family half way round the world and back, I arrived in Annapolis in 1992, and none too soon - it’s a wonderful place. I was able to build seriously on previous intermittent real estate experience, and have become fully absorbed in the business. Back then as a newcomer to the area, I had to rely heavily on referrals and repeat business from satisfied clients, so I feel it’s a compliment to me that in this way I steadily built my annual throughput to $10 million in less than 10 years. I am now a life member of the Distinguished Sales Club, President of the Board of the Masters Club (a society of the more successful Anne Arundel county agents), and my performance has been recognized by my company by selection to the Founder’s Club, the company’s highly commended group. I keep up to date through various courses, and I am an Accredited Buyer’s Agent.

My company recently became part of Coldwell Banker, and I operate from the office at Church Circle in the center of old Annapolis. I am fortunate that this is an extremely professional office with the highest business volume of any of the company’s Maryland offices. Our location makes us a center for sales of waterfront and water privileged properties, as well as local high-end properties and estates. And of course we are linked with Coldwell Banker’s many other offices and services, worldwide.

All of this is serious stuff, but one of the secrets to my success is that we will have a few laughs too, even while the work of looking after your interests is going on. I hope to hear from you and look forward to working with you!
